On Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 7 p.m., the Wood County Democratic Party will meet via Zoom and will be hearing from Jan Materni, who will is running for State House, as well as Dr. Nick Pfleghaar, who is running for Wood County Commissioner. We will likely be joined by candidates for one or more statewide offices as well.
Please email wooddems@gmail.com for more information. On Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. at Grounds for Thought in Bowling Green (174 S. Main, BG), representatives from the Ohio Democratic Party will be kicking off our coordinated campaign efforts this year and laying out grassroots efforts that will be essential for us winning control of the Ohio Supreme Court as well as the Governor's Office and other statewide and local races. In addition, Brenna Reynolds (Rossford City Council) and Nick Rubando (BG City Council) will be speaking about how grassroots efforts helped propel their campaigns to victory last year. It will take that level of effort this year again! We will be meeting, though virtually only, on Thursday February 3, 2022 at 7 p.m. We will have a virtual guest, Representative Jeff Crossman (who has Wood County roots), who is running for Attorney General. We will also hear from local candidates and will have some exciting announcements. Plus, we'll honor and celebrate the volunteers and candidates who worked so hard in 2021. Please email wooddems@gmail.com for more information.
